Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Matheasy application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Matheasy.
Description of service
Matheasy is an educational application that lets you scan or enter math problems and receive step-by-step solutions, visual explanations, and AI-powered tutoring. Features may evolve over time as we improve and expand the Service. We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.
User accounts
To access certain features you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time via the app or our Delete Account page.
Subscription plans
Matheasy offers both free and paid subscription options. Paid plans (such as monthly or annual Premium) unlock additional features and are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Free vs Premium features
The free plan provides core scanning and solving capabilities with certain limits. Premium unlocks benefits such as unlimited solutions, advanced step-by-step explanations, AI tutoring with Numi, visual learning, and an ad-free experience. Specific inclusions are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may change over time.
Billing & payments
Subscriptions are billed to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore entitlements; payment details are handled entirely by the app stores and are never stored by Matheasy.
Refund policy
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and refunds are subject to their respective policies. Because Matheasy does not process payments directly, refund requests must generally be submitted through Apple or Google. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@getmatheasy.com and we will do our best to help.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or be incomplete. Solutions are provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional instruction. You are responsible for verifying results, and Matheasy is not liable for academic outcomes based on the content provided.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Cheat, plagiarize, or violate your institution's academic integrity policies.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to extract the app's source code or models.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without permission.
Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials provided through Matheasy are owned by Matheasy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Content you submit (such as scanned problems) remains yours, but you grant us a license to process it to provide the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matheasy and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or academic results arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Service availability
We aim to keep Matheasy available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from such interruptions.
Account suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though certain provisions (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) survive.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Matheasy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Matheasy operates, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
